Chairman's Message

Welcome to the website for the Republican Party of Lee County, North Carolina.  Lee County’s Grand Old Party (GOP) is committed to the principles of smaller government, strict observance of conservative values, and grass roots representation at all levels of government.

We are the Party of Lincoln, Reagan, and Trump – Presidents who put American interests first and whose love of country and commitment to founding principles surpassed their progressive and liberal counterparts.  The Lee GOP continuously strives to expand its base and to increase the accountability of public officials to the will of the voting public.

The Lee GOP Headquarters is located in downtown Sanford at 101 S. Steele Street.  We operate year-round, with limited hours before and after active campaign seasons.  At 6:00 PM, each Friday night throughout the year, the party hosts “Make America Great Again” get-togethers at the party headquarters with free refreshments (#MAGAFridays).

If you have recently moved into Lee County, or are newly registered as a Republican voter here, we welcome you.  If you are a registered Democrat or Unaffiliated voter and are looking for a party that shares Judeo-Christian values and conservative principles, we invite you to evaluate our party for alignment with your beliefs.

This website features an active blog to keep you informed of local, state and national issues and events.  It is updated on a weekly basis and is interactive.  Our monthly meeting announcements are posted in the Events section.  Our regular monthly meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of every month, and are open to all registered Republicans.

If you want to receive our Email newsletters and legislative alerts, be sure to Subscribe to our mailing list.  We also have a Twitter and Facebook presence if you are into social networking.

There are many ways for you to become active in our local Party and in the conservative movement.  Please contact me if you have any questions or if you need further literature on the Lee GOP.
